My Hand is Going to Cramp
I have to sign 250 holiday cards today. Yuck. I have put it off for 2 weeks and when I was "politely" asked where the signed cards were so that a certain someone could stuff them in the envelopes, she didn't appreciate my blank stare and my "uuhhhh, cards?". They have been on my desk for 2 weeks, I was told. So here I am, signing away. Ha ha, nope I'm blogging. Shit here she comes...
Ritmeyer, 9:00 AM
sounds like how I felt writing all the wedding thank you cards. And when I say "I", I mean my wife.
Cards are annoying. They should all be through email these days.
*I have to whisper, Mass Holiday emails to clients...genius!*
Today sucks.
Or at least just preprinted. wft?
I have no one to blame but myself. I think it looks more personal to sign them, then I put off doing it. I would hate to work for me.
Lulu-I still have to do my own cards, these are for work.
Armaedes- yeah so what? I don't wanna do um.
there's a little thing called Autopen out there, you might want to invest in one.
Or a stamp. A nice stamp always does the trick. It works for doctors, why not Rit?
My Hand! I think I'm getting carpal tunnel.
Are you done yet??
can you get workmans comp for that?
we have this thing, by we i mean the government, that you sign once on a pad and then the computer can print your signature.
No I'm not done. I keep taking "good for me" breaks. hahaha
Yeah, but I still think it looks better when I actually sign it. I only have 100 left. But now I'm going to go get a salad for lunch.
I had to do that once. The guys name that I was signing went from a neatly written legible first and last name to the first letter of his name and a bunch of scribbling afterwards. Screw those people if they don't know who it's from! Half of them throw them straight in the trash anyway.
Damn it!
Why didn't I think of having my assistant do it?! Maybe Skywalker? No?
